Top Five key moments from India Vs England test match in Chennai.



After producing a magnificent performance in the first match of the series, England has given a shocker to cricket fan's and experts as everybody had written them off before the start of the test series. Let analysis the top five key moments that was the highlighting moments of the test match.

1) Winning the toss on a dusty pitch- When you are playing test match cricket in subcontinent condition, you want to win the toss and bat first and pile up some runs and put the opposition under pressure as they have to bat last on dusty surfaces on day 4 and day 5, which England did perfectly in this test match.

2) Joe Root double century - No can underestimate the role of winning the toss while playing in subcontinent condition but you need some quality batsman to utilize that opportunity and pile up some runs batting first which Joe Root did perfectly. Joe root looked in very good touch as he played Indian spinners very comfortably. This was back to back the third century of Joe Root in subcontinent conditions after he played exceptional well in Sri Lanka.

3) England spinners shocking performance - Before the start of the test match, England spin bowlers looked very inexperienced and as well as there was doubt regarding their capabilities to bowl well against Indian batsman which are known to play spin well. But both the spinners Dom bess and Jack leach were impressive as Dom was the standout in the first innings while Jack was the standout in the second innings.

4) Inability of Indian bowlers to put pressure on England in the first innings- Indian bowlers particularly spin looked way below average as they were unable to put any pressure on England in the 1st innings. The pitch was flat and good for batting but Indian bowlers were not able to bowl tight line and length, which even Virat Kohli highlighted the same after the post-match conference.

5) Jimmy Anderson magical spell - In the fourth innings India was batting reasonable well and there were chances that India might able to save the test match as Indian batsman starting batting well in the last innings. But as soon as Jimmy was introduced for his short spell which seemed a breather for Indians eventually it turned out to be too costly for them as Jimmy got set Shubman Gill out on 50 and then Ajinkya rahane on first-ball duck and with the crucial wicket of Rishabh pant who looked most convincing in the first innings for the Indian team. After these three wickets, the match was completely titled in favour of England.
