India Can't Afford to loose in a crucial test match starting tomorrow !

After the discussion that had erupted relating to the pitch during the third test match between India and England, the series now moves into the final test match at the newly built Motera stadium.

Key Highlighting points for the fourth test match

If India lose, they are out of ICC Test Championship

The fourth and final test match is not important from a series perspective but also the inaugural ICC test championship at the mecca of cricket in lords. Virat Kohli and the team management will be quite aware of this situation and their focus will be to play positive cricket and not get anxious about the outcomes.

Controversy relating to the pitch

There was a huge hype for the pink ball test match at the newly built largest cricket stadium at Motera but the disastrous pitch and some poor batting from both side resulted in the match finishing in two days only as there was no good contest between bat and ball which everyone was looking for.

England skipper Joe Root on Wednesday said the pitch for the fourth and final test match against India looks very similar to the one on which his team was decimated in the third game but the visitors have learnt their lessons to be ready for the challenge starting Thursday.

"It's (the pitch) looking very similar...I think the most important thing is that we learn all the lessons from the last two two test matches and make sure we're back for it," Root said when asked about the raging debate over the pitch in the last Test and how this one was looking.

Importance of winning the Toss

In the previous test match, the England team failed to utilize the toss advantage as they were bundled out cheaply in the first innings leaving them trailing in the entire test match.

If England could have posted a reasonable score in the first innings, they could have been in a very strong position to win the test match. This time also any team that wins the toss will like to bat first and put a good score batting first as the wicket is expected favour the spinners again.

Changes Expected on both the sides

Jasprit Bumrah ruled out due to personal reasons. This may well result in an appearance for Mohammed Siraj, who was quite impressive in the recently concluded away tour of Australia. Without much adieu, let's take a look at the probable 11 for the fourth test match.

India's Probable XI For 4th Test: Rohit Sharma, Subman Gill, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli (C), Ajinkya Rahane (VC), Rishabh Pant (WK), Ravichandran Ashwin, Washington Sundar, Axar Patel, Ishant Sharma, Mohammed Siraj.

England, on the other hand, would drop Stuart Broad and draft Dominic Bess into its playing 11. Bess was brilliant with the ball in the first Test but failed to make it to England playing 11 in previous two Tests of the series.

England Probable playing 11: Zak Crawley, Dominic Sibley, Jonny Bairstow, Joe Root, Ben Stokes, Ollie Pope, Ben Foakes, Dominic Bess, Jofra Archer, Jack Leach, James Anderson.

Opinion

Indian team is looking strong enough to win the test match as well as the test series but if not, they have the potiential to draw the test match in a "worst-case scenario " to ensure their qualifications in the inaugural ICC Test Championship.
