2nd Test Match Preview- India certainly have the mentality to bounce back in the series.

The second test match starts tomorrow between India and England at Chennai as this match is crucial for both the teams.

England wants to win this one, as they will be 2-0 up in the series and further strengthening their position for ICC World Test Championship. While India on other hand, want's to bounce back in the series, keeping their hope alive for ICC Test Championship. Qualifications.

   Winning the Toss becomes Crucial

The second test match will also be played in Chennai. Traditionally Chennai wickets always spin with bounce making spin bowler more deadly as compared to fast bowlers. The wicket will be more or less the same as it was in the first test so toss becomes a key factor. Anyone who wins the toss will bat first and put the opposition under pressure by putting a good score in first innings as the side who bat's last on Day 4 & Day 5 will have to show some great skills to tackle spin bowling.

If Englands wins the toss, they will bat first and again try to repeat the 1st test match performance with the bat, but if they lose the test than pressure will be huge on England as they will bat last and they have to bowl out India cheaply in the first innings when wicket will play at it's best, so toss could be the deciding factor in the test match starting tomorrow.

England batting may collapse if Joe Root get's out cheaply.

England batting more or less revolves around Joe Root but the moment Root struggles, England could fall like a pair of cards. In the last three tests, Joe Root has some incredible stats and he has consistently performed for his side, leading from the front. Apart from Root, England batting looks dodgy as no batsman plays spin better as Root does and can bat for longer durations, so overreliance of England on Root could cost them costly if he falters.

Four changes in England side and couple expected in Indian side tomorrow.

England has already announced their playing 12 man squad with Jimmy, Jofra (injured), Jos, Dom Bess are out with Foakes, Ali, Stone, Broad and Woakes coming in the 12 man squad.
While India is also expected to make a couple of changes including Shazab Nadeem with Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel both are in contentions to play tomorrow.

Crowds allowed in Test match starting       tomorrow.

After an appetising start, the India-England Test series is set for an interesting turn in Chennai when crowds return to a cricket match for the first time in the country since the COVID-19 outbreak. That by itself should usually be enough to make the match a momentous occasion. The reception for the tickets has, unsurprisingly, been massive even as the sight of queues outside the ticketing booths make for a scary proposition. The logistical challenge of organising this game in a short period notwithstanding, the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association is confident of making it a safe environment.

"We're allowing 50% only, our total capacity when fully occupied is about 32000 odd, and we're only allowing 14000 inside. That is because on the pavilion side [where the players sit] we're not letting in anybody. The pavilion side is going to be completely sealed because of the bio-bubble. The Pavillion Terrace will have only about 600 people which include the office-bearers, but no public," says TNCA Secretary RS Ramasamy.

Opinion

After England shockingly beat India in 1st test every cricket fan and expert was surprised by the result of the 1st test. India is known to be slow starters in any series but very good at bouncing back as there have been several instances in the past where India got beaten badly in 1st test but bouncing back and winning the series. India looks favourite despite the shocker of the first test but in cricket, you can't predict outcomes as the team who plays well on the given day is eventually turning out to be victorious. India has the full potential to make a comeback and put England under pressure in the test starting tommorrow at the M.A Chidambaram Stadium.
