Top 5 Unsold Cricketer's of IPL Auction 2021 !

During this IPL Auction there were few surprises, some pleasant and some not.The most shocking and suprising cricketer's who are known to be explosive and deadly in T20 format was dubbed by the franchise.

Top 5 unsold cricketer's of IPL 2021 Auction are :

1. Alex Hales — Right handed batsman Alex Hales was not picked in the auction either. With his recent form in the BBL many expected Hales to be picked for a very high price.

He won the golden bat of the season in the BBL and also the fluent six hitter. He also played at number 3 for England in ODIs which proves his flexibility.

Thus, if not as an opener he can also bat in the middle order providing stability. The most surprising exclusion since he was also in great form in Big bash league.

2. Jason Roy — English hard hitter and opener Jason Roy was not picked in the auction this time. He was a part of the Delhi Daredevils while he was part of the IPL last time.

He is not a very fluent player of spin which might have gone against him.Though he is a explosive batsman who loves to take on the bowler and is very pleasing to watch.

3. Marnus Labuschagne— The Australian young sensation is in wonderful form this season. He was the top scorer in the Border Gavaskar trophy and also did well in the ODIs of the same tour.

After that he returned to the BBL for the Hurricanes. There he put up complete performances with both bat and ball. Thus he is a versatile player and an asset with both bat, bowl and in fielding his electrifying energy is great to watch.

4. Aaron Finch — The Australian captain has been a part of many IPL teams over the years. Despite all of this he has not proved to be that good and struggles to find the permanent spot in any of the franchises.

Last year he played for RCB in his preferred role as an opener. He played well in patches but could not remain consistent as a result was released. In the 2021 auction he was not picked either.

His consistently poor show in IPL and his inability to tackle spin well in subcontinent conditions has gone against him.

5. Alex Carey - Australian limited over wicket keeper, who is most underrated cricketer in International cricket as he has never got an opportunity to bat higher up the order or consistently getting a chance to feature in playing XI doesn't get any buyer at a base price of 1.50 crores.

Last year he played for Delhi capitals but did not get much opportunities to showcase his talent.
