Top Four Teams that can qualify for IPL 2021 Play-Off


The Indian Premier League 2021 (IPL) season is going to be very interesting. All eight teams are in full form and ready to rock the field. King Kohli led Royal Challengers Bangalore has improved a lot and they are the strong contenders to lift the trophy this year though RCB played awfully in the last season of IPL and lost their first six games. However, they are cornered tigers and cannot be ignored in the top 4 in IPL 2021.

Last year, Mumbai Indians won the trophy after they were by far the best team of the tournament. Mumbai Indians ended on the top spot on the points table and won the Qualifier 1 and final match to grab the trophy for a record 5th time.

This time around also Mumbai Indians starts with a favourite tag among Fans and cricket pundits.The top 4 teams that can qualify in IPL 2021 are -:


1. Royal Challengers Bangalore- 

In IPL 2021 auction, RCB bought Glenn Maxwell who was a crucial buy. However, the team did not buy some experienced pace bowlers. Kyle Jamieson was one bowler which the franchisee bought during the auction. However, the New Zealand pacer Kyle Jamieson will make a debut in IPL 2021. Hence, the team cannot put absolute trust in him in the bowling department. However, their young Indian players look's good this season and that may help them to qualify for Play-off. 


2. Chennai Superkings - 

Having finished 7th in IPL 2020, CSK would be somewhat under pressure to keep the ball rolling. Not that CSK had or have a bad team. It is just the form of a few key players that troubled them last year. With a capable leader in MS Dhoni, CSK would be willing and itching to get back to winning ways, and be the team they are. 


3. Sunrisers Hyderabad -

Any team that comes up against SRH, irrespective of the stage of the tournament, is assured of a tough fight from the Orange Army. In the last few seasons, this team has developed itself into a very powerful unit. They have, in fact, reached the playoffs for 5 seasons in a row. Under the leadership of David Warner, SRH are very strong contenders for a place in the playoffs yet again.

4. Rajasthan Royals -

The originally strong RR team for IPL 2021 had one major problem, and that was their relatively fragile lower middle-order. They had to rely on Shivam Dube, Morris, Tewatia, and Riyan Parag for finishing duties. With Jofra not there, RR should look to play either David Miller or Liam Livingstone to boost their batting. However, their batting looks very explosive with lights of Ben Stokes and Jos butler can win you matches single handely.The captaincy of Sanju samson will also be something refreshing for the royals as it might bring the best from samson.
